What is the Spouse/Guest Pass?

As a special offer, USGIF is giving GEOINT 2010 attendees and exhibitors the option to bring a spouse or guest to this year’s Symposium. We’ve reduced the price to $75 per person and increased the access the pass provides. The spouse/guest pass provides access to the exhibit hall after 4 p.m. as well as the each evening’s networking event.

What is the solicitation policy?


No solicitation of any kind is allowed at the GEOINT 2010 Symposium. By registering to attend, you acknowledge this policy and agree that you will not advertise, represent or distribute literature for products or services to our exhibitors, attendees or staff without the express written approval of USGIF. Any attendee that violates this policy will forfeit their registration credentials.

Will Internet access be available at the Symposium?

Internet hot spots will be located within the GEOINT 2010 exhibit hall.

What is the dress code?

Business attire is recommended for all conference sessions, the exhibit hall and receptions. Military officers and enlisted personnel are recommended to wear their duty uniform or business suit. Casual attire is recommended for the Welcome Reception, Corporate Hospitality Night and Closing Celebration.

What is the official language of the symposium?

English is the official language of the conference. USGIF is unable to provide translation services for conference attendees.

Is GEOINT 2010 Tax Deductible?

If the purpose of attending GEOINT 2010 is to help you maintain or improve skills relating to employment or business, a portion of your conference expenses may be tax deductible according to IRC Reg. 1.162.5. The eligible deduction for this amount is generally limited. Please consult your tax adviser. You cannot deduct the cost of meals from your registration fee.

Is there an age restriction for GEOINT 2010?

Due to liability restrictions, no one under the age of 18, including infants and toddlers, is permitted to attend GEOINT 2010 Symposium event or to enter the exhibit hall at any time.

Is there an "official airline" for GEOINT 2010?

USGIF has partnered with United Airlines and named them the “Official Carrier” of the GEOINT 2010 Symposium. Purchase your ticket online at www.united.com and receive a 5 percent discount off the lowest applicable fares. After you link to www.united.com, enter your origin, destination, and travel dates.

The meeting name is “GEOINT 2010” and click on “advanced search” options to enter promotion code number 585WP. Please note that the code is case sensitive, therefore make sure to use all capital letters.

What is included in a One-Day Expo Only Pass?

Only those activities taking place in the Exhibit Hall on the day for which your badge was purchased. There is a limit of one, One-Day Expo Only Pass per attendee.


What are the exhibit hall hours?

Hours for the exhibit hall will be posted at a later date. Please check back to our website often as this information becomes available.

Where can I find the agenda for the symposium?

The GEOINT 2010 agenda can be found on our agenda page. The agenda will continually be updated as speakers are confirmed, so be sure to check back often.

How can I pay my registration fee?

Registration fees may be paid by any of the following means: 

  • Credit Card
  • Check (US Dollars)
  • Signed Company Purchase Order
  • Government Voucher
  • Wire/Bank Transfer

No registration will be confirmed unless accompanied by full payment, signed company purchase order or government voucher. Registrations with fees paid by wire/bank transfer will not be confirmed until USGIF has received bank confirmation that the transfer has been received.

Are hotel charges included in registration costs?

No, hotel charges are not included in registration costs. A large block of guest rooms for GEOINT 2010 attendees have been reserved. Visit the GEOINT 2010 Housing page for more information and to reserve your room.

Is this symposium classified?

There are no classified sessions during the Symposium. All exhibits, keynotes, panels, and break-out sessions are unclassified and open to all attendees.

Where and when does GEOINT 2010 take place?

GEOINT 2010 will take place November 1 – 4 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center located in New Orleans, LA.
