From USGIF President Keith Masback: Flooding in Nashville, TN

The City of Nashville and surrounding areas experienced unprecedented rain over this past weekend, and therefore they have experienced severe flooding. With the success of the GEOINT 2008 Symposium at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville, we created fantastic partnerships with many people including the management and staff at the Gaylord and with the great professionals at the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau. They are all wonderful to work with, and the safety and welfare of them, their staffs, and their families are first in our minds. We wish them all well as they deal with the aftermath of the terrible flooding.
