USGIF Invites Young Professionals to GEOINT 2010 Orientation and Service Project

September 29, 2010

All Young Professionals and volunteers are invited to participate the Young Professionals Orientation and Service Project, taking place on Nov. 1, beginning at 10 a.m. A tour of the exhibit hall, general sessions and other important areas is provided by USGIF President Keith Masback. He’ll share his insight on what to expect and how to take advantage of all the great career and networking opportunities.

After the morning orientation, USGIF Young Professionals will be working with Beacon of Hope Resource Center. Young Professionals will be working in the Filmore Gardens Neighborhood located in the 7th Ward of New Orleans, LA. Click here to learn about the service project. One of USGIF’s goals is to improve upon a GEOINT Symposium host city. Helping a community that is still feeling the effects of Hurricane Katrina even 5 years later is a great way we can do this.
